    About IIAN

    Invisible Illness Awareness Network is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of invisible illnesses, chronic conditions, and disabilities. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, we work to reduce stigma, support patients and families, and drive meaningful change in healthcare and education. We have affiliates across the country and a growing digital presence.

    About the Role

    As YouTube Channel Marketing Manager, you'll own the growth strategy for IIAN's YouTube presence. This is a strategic, leadership-level volunteer role for someone who understands how to build an audience on YouTube and wants to use that expertise for social good. You'll work closely with our video editors and organizational leadership to maximize the reach and impact of every video we publish.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop and execute a YouTube channel growth strategy aligned with IIAN's mission
    • Manage video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO and discoverability
    • Engage with the YouTube community through comments and community posts

    Who We're Looking For

    • Experience managing or growing a YouTube channel (personal, organizational, or professional)
    • Understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and the Creator Studio dashboard
    • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote, volunteer-led environment
    • Passion for healthcare advocacy, education, or disability awareness
    • Students in marketing/communications and professionals with relevant experience are both welcome
