    Description

Great American State Fair - Utah Pavilion Ambassador

As part of the historic celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Great American State Fair will transform the National Mall in Washington, D.C., into a vibrant showcase of the nation, featuring a dedicated Utah Pavilion. We are looking for enthusiastic ambassadors to represent the Beehive State by serving 3-hour volunteer shifts between June 25 and July 10, 2026.

Your volunteer shift will be a fun, high-energy experience focused on welcoming guests, sharing what makes Utah special—our innovation economy, rich culture, thriving agriculture, breathtaking outdoor adventures, and more—and creating memorable interactions in a festive, patriotic atmosphere. The pavilion will feature interactive exhibits, engaging displays, and possibly tastings or live demos. All roles involve being on your feet, staying positive and energetic, and representing Utah with pride. Training and materials will be provided in advance.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older; those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire shift.

Every volunteer will receive a branded t-shirt to wear during their shift(s) and a cooling neck towel. Volunteers who complete three or more shifts will be mailed a special recognition certificate from Lieutenant Governor Henderson.
