    About LandSeed

LandSeed is a non-profit committed to reimagining entry-level housing for future generations. Our goal is to create inclusive communities where homeownership is accessible for all, and everyone has the opportunity to build a stable, fulfilling future. At LandSeed, we create solutions for the Canadian housing crisis by collaborating with communities and industry partners to identify barriers and create real pathways to homeownership.

    Our Commitment

We are driven to uplift those in housing ownership need, including first-time homebuyers, seniors, immigrants, single parents, environmentalists, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Our vision is to pioneer data-driven designs and value structures for entry-level housing across Canada.

    Job Description

LandSeed is looking for Business Research Analyst to support its growth on research, business information, and new opportunities into clear strategies, recommendations, and professional business materials. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants exposure to real projects and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work across different areas of the organization, contribute to initiatives from early ideas through execution, and build experience in business strategy, research, housing, community development, partnerships, and organizational growth.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Conduct business, market, industry, and opportunity research
    • Develop business cases, feasibility assessments, reports, proposals, and briefing documents
    • Turn complex research and information into clear recommendations for leadership
    • Support the development of new projects, programs, partnerships, and organizational initiatives
    • Prepare professional presentations and strategic materials for external stakeholders
    • Help evaluate opportunities and identify potential risks, gaps, and next steps
    • Work across departments on a variety of strategic projects.

    Qualifications & Skillsets

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related fields.
    • 1 - 5 years of experience in relevant areas.

    Skillsets

    • Strong business writing, research, and analytical skills
    • Ability to take complex information and communicate it clearly
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving
    • Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative information
    • Background or experience in business, strategy, consulting, economics, research, public policy, or a related field
    • Strong ownership, initiative, and self-motivation
    • Someone who is curious, resourceful, and comfortable taking an open-ended problem and figuring out how to move it forward.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience working on real housing, community, and business initiatives
    • Exposure to organizational strategy and executive-level decision-making
    • Opportunities to work across multiple areas rather than being limited to one function
    • Experience developing professional business cases, proposals, reports, and strategic recommendations
    • Opportunities to take ownership of projects and see your work directly influence decisions
    • A portfolio of meaningful, real-world work and opportunities to grow with the organization.
