    Description

BUILD is a high school entrepreneurship program taught in underresourced schools setting the foundation for students to have an entrepreneurial mindset and succeed in high school and beyond. Students learn basics on how to run their own business in addition to connecting with professionals from the community to expand their network.

Students in Year 1 of BUILD are working toward their end of year event known as the Business Plan Competition. The Business Plan Competition is an opportunity for students to showcase their businesses and what they’ve learned over the course of the year to a panel of judges. Coaches will help students prepare their final pitches, fine tuning presentations and practicing their speaking roles in front of an audience.
