Description
AARP Tax Preparer volunteers assist community members in completing and filing simple yearly tax returns. This service is provided through the AARP Tax-Aide program. Preparers must have basic computer skills, effective communication and organizational skills, and keen attention to detail. Tax preparation knowledge is a plus. Volunteers must be discreet with and keep clients' personal and financial information confidential. Successful completion of training through AARP/IRS is required. The AARP Tax Aide Program will run from February 2027 to mid-April 2027. Training for the program begins in late Fall 2026.
