    About Birthright AFRICA

Birthright AFRICA transforms youth and young adults of African descent ages 13–30 through immersive travel experiences that explore cultural roots and a legacy of innovation across the diaspora, culminating in a free life‑changing trip to Africa. Through collaborative partnerships, we instill pride, enhance confidence, and build connections for Birthright Scholars to fulfill their future aspirations. Since our 2017 pilot with CUNY, 150 Scholars have traveled in partnership with 12 Education Partners, and over 27,000 young people are registered as Scholars engaging in pre-travel virtual programming. Our vision: global leaders and entrepreneurs who are proud, confident, and connected to the African continent.
