Overview

Sync with God is developing a global online discipleship pathway delivered through the Pathwright online learning platform. We are seeking a highly creative Short‑Form Video Creator to produce compelling, spiritually formative, and visually engaging video segments that accompany each Sync with God course module. These videos will help learners connect emotionally, understand key concepts, and confidently move into next steps of obedience and discipleship.

This role is ideal for a creator who loves storytelling, understands online engagement, and can translate spiritual truth into modern media formats.

Responsibilities

Video Creation & Editing

• • Produce short-form videos (15s–3 min) in various formats:
  • inspirational clips
  • animated explainers
  • scripture‑based devotionals
  • micro‑testimonies
  • course teasers & promos
  • Edit footage, motion graphics, audio, and captions optimized for mobile-first consumption.

Course Integration (Pathwright)

• • Adapt video content to sync with the lesson flow, reflection prompts, and learning pathways in each course.
  • Coordinate final upload/embedding into the Pathwright platform.

Branding & Visual Consistency

• • Align every video with Sync with God’s brand identity, tone, color palette, typography, and messaging.
  • Create variations for different platforms (reels, shorts, stories, horizontal course videos).

Creative Strategy

• • Suggest new formats, storytelling ideas, reels trends, or visual treatments that enhance course engagement.
  • Collaborate with writers, course designers, and curriculum developers to match video to learning objectives.

International Reach

• • Prepare video edits that can be easily translated (subtitles, clean space for text overlays, etc.)
  • Coordinate with translators for multi‑language versions.

Qualifications

• • Proven experience editing short‑form video (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
  • Ability to produce videos in multiple styles: cinematic, documentary, animated, social‑media rapid‑cut, etc.
  • Experience working with faith‑based or spiritual‑formation content desirable.
  • Strong storytelling instincts and sensitivity to spiritual themes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• • Motion graphics or simple animation experience.
  • Familiarity with Pathwright or other online course platforms.
  • Understanding of discipleship, spiritual formation, or ministry environments.
  • Comfortable producing content for global audiences.
