Commitment Details:
Once per week visits, between one and four hours, with one patient. Volunteers must commit to being an available volunteer for one year.

Description
If you want to serve your community and you have a compassionate heart especially for those experiencing their last days, then Virginia Mason Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care has a meaningful volunteer experience for you.
Our volunteers take time to honor and celebrate people's lives all the way until the end. You can help by listening to a person's life stories or their favorite music. You can sit with them while their family gets a break. You can run errands, make courtesy phone calls, sit near by while they nap, read aloud, and so much more.
