Hospice Volunteers Needed in Oklahoma City - Variety of Positions Open!

Suncrest Hospice would love for you to join our volunteer family! As an integral part of our team, volunteers provide companionship and support to our terminally ill patients located at home or in a facility. Our current service area includes Morris, Bergen, Essex, Union, Sussex, Passaic, and Somerset NJ counties. You can volunteer in many different ways in the area where you're located!

Companionship volunteers include making friendly visits to our patients or providing respite time for a tired caregiver. And if you are a Veteran, we would love to pair you with one of our Veteran patients!

Student Intern volunteers within the arena of Social Work or Chaplaincy are always welcome to apply to complete their clinical hours with us and gain knowledge and understanding of the hospice model.

Pet therapy volunteers share their certified pet therapy animal with our patients to relieve stress and anxiety and provide peaceful comfort.

Musical and artistic volunteers bring the joy of their instruments, voices or art skills to share with our patients.

Gentle Touch volunteers go on scheduled events with our Marketers to give hand and arm massages to our patients and other facility residents.

Do you sew, crochet or knit? We need volunteers to make blankets for our patients year-round, as well as fidget blankets for our Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients.

Hairstylist volunteers needed a few times a month to pamper our patients with a fresh new haircut.

Reiki practitioner volunteers are welcomed to bring peace, comfort and balance to our patients.

Do you play sound bowl meditations? We would love for you to share this sacred gift with our patients to bring them peace and comfort.

Suncrest volunteers consistently report that they find their experience very gratifying and our patients will greatly benefit from your talents and compassion.
