    Thrift Store Volunteer

    VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

    We are seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to help make our annual curated pop-up estate sale a success. This special event features beautiful, donated furniture, designer clothing, shoes & handbags, jewelry, artwork, home décor, books and unique household treasures.

    All proceeds support animals in need, making this a wonderful opportunity to give back while working with other animal lovers in a fun, creative, and community-focused environment.

    Flexible shifts are available. This opportunity is perfect for fashion lovers, vintage enthusiasts, students, retirees, animal lovers, and anyone who enjoys merchandising, decorating, organizing, or community events.

    Responsibilities May Include:

    Customer Service & Sales Support

    • Greet and assist shoppers
    • Help create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience
    • Provide general sales floor support

    Donations & Inventory

    • Receive, sort, and organize donated items
    • Inspect and prepare merchandise for sale
    • Research pricing and tag inventory

    Clothing Department

    • Sort, hang, and tag clothing
    • Organize displays and maintain attractive presentation

    Art & Home Décor

    • Hang and display artwork
    • Stage furniture and home décor
    • Create visually appealing merchandise displays

    Merchandising & Store Presentation

    • Arrange and style merchandise
    • Maintain inventory displays
    • Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and inviting

    Social Media & Content Creation

    • Photograph merchandise and displays
    • Create content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms
    • Help promote the event and generate community interest

    **We are also especially seeking volunteers who are comfortable lifting and moving furniture, unloading donations, hanging signage and artwork, helping with store setup, and performing minor repairs. Volunteers with moving, delivery, handyman, carpentry, repair, staging, or general maintenance experience are always appreciated.**
