Nova Hospice is seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide companionship to a patient who finds joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially fishing and sharing fishing stories.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a genuine difference by offering your time, presence, and conversation.
Volunteer Role:
- Spend time visiting with the patient
- Engage in friendly conversation about fishing and life experiences
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Help bring comfort, dignity, and connection at a meaningful time
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Enjoys fishing or talking about fishing
- Has a kind, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Is a good listener and enjoys connecting with others
- Can commit to regular visits (schedule is flexible)
