    Description

    BluShues Inc. is a nonprofit organisation and ministry dedicated to distributing free Bibles and fostering a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Word of God accessible to everyone, both locally and internationally. We believe in the transformative power of volunteers who share our passion for spreading the message of hope and faith.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the financial management of BluShues.
    • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems.
    • Monitor income, expenditure, and financial performance.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
    • Provide financial advice to senior leadership and the Board.
    • Develop financial sustainability strategies.
    • Supervise finance related volunteers and assistants.
    • Prepare periodic financial reports.
    • Promote responsible stewardship of organisational resources.

    Person Specification:

    • Passionate about Christian ministry and financial stewardship.
    • Excellent leadership and financial management skills.
    • Strong organisational abilities.
    • High integrity and confidentiality.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Effective communicator.
    • Detail oriented and dependable.
    • Collaborative and proactive.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
    • Professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
    • Experience in financial management preferred.
    • Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
    • Knowledge of nonprofit financial practices is beneficial.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Commitment to continuous learning.
