Description
We are seeking a dedicated Communications Manager to lead our organization’s communication efforts. The Communications Manager will oversee external and internal communications, manage media relations, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, strategic communication expertise, and a passion for nonprofit work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies.
- Create and manage content for newsletters, press releases, blogs, and social media.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Manage media relations and respond to press inquiries.
- Support internal communications and staff updates.
- Track communication metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in communications or media relations (nonprofit experience a plus).
- Strong writing, editing, and social media management skills.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and audiences.
