    About the Role

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Grant Writer to support our development team in identifying and preparing funding proposals. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in nonprofit fundraising and proposal development.

    Responsibilities

    • Research funding opportunities using databases and public sources.
    • Draft and edit proposals, LOIs, and cover letters.
    • Track deadlines and reporting requirements.
    • Collect program data and collaborate with internal teams.
    • Maintain organized digital grant files and CRM updates.
    • Assist with post-award reporting.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
    • 0–2 years experience in grant writing or nonprofit development.
    • Strong persuasive writing and editing skills.
    • High attention to detail and formatting accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

    Preferred Skills

    • Familiarity with foundation, state, and federal grant formats.
    • Basic understanding of nonprofit budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Experience within AI, tech, or other relevant sectors.
