    Description

Dogslife’s mission is to help families with financial challenges afford critical cancer treatment for their beloved dogs. To many, a dog is not simply a pet; they are part of the family. Unfortunately, many families must forego critical cancer treatment for their beloved companions simply due to financial constraints. Dogslife gives families in this situation somewhere to turn.

Dogslife uses donations to pay for life-saving cancer treatment of selected beneficiaries. These beneficiaries are selected through an application and interview process, which involves the applicant, the dog’s primary veterinarian, and the treating board-certified veterinary oncologist.

We're looking for an organized, compassionate, and people-focused Volunteer Director of Volunteers to build and lead Dogslife’s volunteer program. This volunteer will create systems that attract, onboard, engage, and retain passionate supporters who want to contribute their time and talents to Dogslife’s mission.

The Volunteer Director of Volunteers will help ensure that every volunteer feels connected to our mission, understands their role, and has a meaningful experience while helping Dogslife grow. In this role, you will help build the community of people who make Dogslife’s mission possible. Volunteers are the heart of growing organizations, and your leadership will ensure that every person who gives their time feels valued, connected, and empowered to make a difference for dogs and families in need.
