    Description

    Support the American Red Cross Disaster Services Response!

    We are looking for someone to act as our Information & Planning Generalist.

    An information & Planning Generalist's role is to assist in the collection, evaluation, analysis and dissemination of operational information related to an incident.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare standard reports, including Incident Action Plans (IAP) and Situation Reports
    • Distribute reports and plans as appropriate
    • Create incident maps
    • Gather and distribute information important to the incident, including damage and communities impacted
    • Gather and analyze data regarding incident operations
    • Assist in scheduling briefings in support of operations planning

    Time Commitment:

    Local responses: Shift work determined by the scale of the relief operation; a minimum requirement of 8-12 hours per day during the disaster relief operation for multiple, consecutive days.

    National Deployment responses: 12-14-hour days for extended periods depending on distance. Time and length of commitment will vary by operation
