Share Stories. Inspire Visitors. Become a Museum Docent!

Do you love history and enjoy connecting with people? The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society is looking for volunteers to serve as Docents — leading guided tours for visitors of all ages.

Our museum is dedicated to preserving the stories of Michigan citizens who served and sacrificed — at home and abroad — from World War I to the present day. Within our 11,000-square-foot space, we showcase authentic equipment, weapons, uniforms, and artifacts that tell powerful stories about the cost of freedom.

As a docent, you’ll bring history to life for our guests, helping them discover and appreciate Michigan’s remarkable military heritage.

Training and support are provided — all you need is enthusiasm and a passion for sharing stories that matter.

Join us and help keep Michigan’s military history alive!
