    Description

    The Muslim Women’s Institute for Research and Development is seeking volunteers to support daily operations at the Community Food Pantry @ Highbridge. This is a hands-on opportunity to directly support food access efforts in the Bronx.

    Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks to help keep pantry operations running smoothly and ensure community members receive the food they need.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with food donation pickups
    • Receive and organize food deliveries
    • Help prepare and pack food for distribution
    • Maintain cleanliness by disposing of packaging materials and food waste

    Requirements:

    • Must be 18 or older
    • Comfortable with light lifting and being on your feet
    • Reliable and willing to assist with various tasks

    This is an in-person opportunity based in the Bronx.
