Share Your Heart and a Little of Your Time- Hospice Volunteers Needed

Compassus Hospice is looking for people who want to share their time and hearts with people at the end of life. Our patients have a prognosis of 6 months or less to live. We strive to give them the best quality of life and part of that includes providing companionship, and that is where volunteers are so important! Volunteers visit weekly and spend time chatting, listening, reading, taking walks, playing games- whatever the patient feels like doing at that moment. It is a very rewarding way to spend a little time each week. Volunteers can visit at their convenience, days, weekends and evenings.

No experience is required. We provide a full training program. All applicants must be at least 18 years old. The minimum commitment is 6-12 months for at least an hour a week.
