    Description

Volunteer Mentoring Opportunity! Helping Girls Bloom!

Our new Seeds to Flowers Mentoring Program pairs girls with caring adult mentors who will walk alongside them as they navigate school, self-discovery, and life transitions. Mentors receive trauma-informed training and ongoing support using the Trauma-Informed Mentoring Practice Model (TIMP) to ensure safe, meaningful relationships that promote resilience and growth.

    What You’ll Do

    • Build a supportive, consistent relationship with a mentee aged 14-17
    • Engage in monthly check-ins and activities (virtual or in-person)
    • Encourage academic success, self-esteem, and personal goals
    • Participate in mentor trainings and reflection sessions
    • Be part of a community changing lives—one seed at a time

    Who We’re Looking For

    • Compassionate, dependable adults (21+) passionate about youth empowerment
    • Good listeners who believe in second chances and new beginnings
    • Individuals who can commit 4–6 hours per month for at least 1 year
    • Must have a bachelor's degree or be a successful entrepreneur
    • Graduated from a HBCU is a plus but not required
    • Bilingual is a plus
