We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide social companionship to an older adult who would benefit from regular visits and opportunities for engagement. This individual enjoys playing games, spending time with others, and participating in social activities. Due to limited opportunities for social interaction, your presence can help reduce isolation and bring joy to their day.

Volunteer Activities:

• Engage in friendly conversation
• Play board games, cards, or other simple recreational activities
• Offer companionship and social connection
• Support participation in enjoyable activities during visits

Volunteer Details:

• Location: Gresham, OR
• Visit Type: In-person
• Schedule: Flexible based on volunteer and participant availability
• Commitment: Ongoing preferred

Special Considerations:

• An Assyrian-speaking volunteer is highly preferred to facilitate meaningful communication.
• Volunteers who are patient, culturally sensitive, and enjoy building relationships are encouraged to apply.
