Student Website Developer

Add to and develop the website frontend and backend for The Education Refuge using HTML with tailwindcss and php based off of a Canva mockup (or your own design given approval). Job is fit for students (high school and university) only—interested adults, please consider helping by spreading the word to youth who would be interested in this opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and add onto the website given the requests of those in charge
• Maintain the website and ensure that it renders properly on multiple platforms and formfactors
• Ensure that the backend performs the necessary functions (i.e. contact us & job applications)
• Respond and fix any immediate issues with the website within a reasonable time period

Qualifications:

• High school or university student
• At least a year of experience with HTML and building websites
• Familiarity with tailwindcss and git/github
• Familiarity or ability to learn PHP (or any other backend depending on level of proficiency/experience and willingness to rewrite the backend)
• Ability to code WITHOUT the usage of AI
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit

Time Commitment:

1–4 hours per week, depending on how much work is needed on the website.
