    Description

Shop Coach: Mentor Students in our Workshop
The Master's Apprentice is a faith based non-profit operating a 6 week pre-apprentice. We are in need of volunteers to join us as Coaches. Our coaches teach our soft skill curriculum and/or our hands on labs that prepare our students for careers in the trades!
No prior experience in the trades needed. Be part of something meaningful, make a difference in someone's life!
Courses include financial literacy, work ethics, construction math, career prep, plumbing and electrical labs and woodshop. All curriculum is provided and staff supported.
If you do not wish to teach, you can also help in the class as a support role.
Commitment is two mornings or afternoon sessions (3.5 hours) per week for 5 weeks. Our classes run every two months so you can choose the best time period for your lifestyle.
If you do not have the time to commit to volunteering, you can join in helping our students practice interviews. This looks like joining for 2 hours, once or twice a month to sit and conduct mock interviews with students, providing feedback on performance.
