    Volunteer at Vancouver GoFest Celebration 2026

    Vancouver Arena is seeking volunteers for Vancouver GoFest Celebration 2026, a free community festival taking place July 11–12, 2026 in Downtown Vancouver and along the Waterfront.

    Now entering its fourth year, Vancouver GoFest Celebration brings together thousands of attendees for a weekend of games, live entertainment, local businesses, artists, family activities, and a city-wide Pokémon-themed adventure. The event helps drive foot traffic to local businesses while creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for visitors of all ages.

    Volunteer Positions

    Volunteer at Vancouver GoFest Celebration 2026 | Sign Up to Help

    Setup/Teardown help setup/teardown event canopies, tables, chairs, and assist with directing vendor setup.

    Registration Booth - will hand out passport books, pins and stickers.

    Kids Zone - will help kids at the craft stations (coloring, painting, headbands). Keeping things, tidy, paint brushes cleaned.

    Area Monitor will keep an eye out for kids, help direct people with questions and assist with things like refilling water at the cooling stations, checking garbage receptacles, etc.

    Volunteers receive:

    • Event volunteer shirt
    • Festival lanyard
    • Snacks and water during their shift
    • Community service hours (if needed)
    • The opportunity to help create one of the Pacific Northwest's largest Pokémon-themed community events

    Directions

    Vancouver GoFest Celebration 2026 takes place throughout Downtown Vancouver and the Waterfront. Volunteer check-in instructions, parking information, and assigned shifts will be emailed prior to the event.

    Most volunteer positions are located at Waterfront Park, the registration booth, activity stations, passport locations, and event support areas throughout the festival footprint.
