Description
The Grants Assistant Volunteer helps drive Florida Youth At Risk financial sustainability by assisting with grant research and writing. This role requires organization, detail-oriented, writing skills and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential funding sources from government, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Assist with writing, editing and submitting high-quality grant proposals and applications tailored to funding opportunities.
- Assist with ensuring grant deadlines are met, compliance with reporting requirements and the terms of awarded grants.
- Help cultivate and maintain relationships with funding organizations, including providing follow-up information and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance department to create accurate and detailed grant budgets.
- Track progress on awarded grants, ensure proper documentation is in place, and generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that all grant applications and reports meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
