Nonprofit
Housing and Environmental Justice Educator for the League of Women Voters San Francisco
Details
Description
The League of Women Voters of San Francisco (LWVSF) is seeking passionate and dedicated
individuals to volunteer as our Housing and Environmental Justice educators. These positions
aim to promote transparency and accountability in the equity, budgeting and planning, and
environmental concerns relating to housing options across San Francisco. As members of the
Housing and Environmental Justice Task Force, volunteers will work closely with the Housing
and Environmental Justice Task Force Lead, LWVSF members, and other housing and
environmental justice groups and coalitions to educate the League and the public about housing
and environmental justice in San Francisco.
These positions are voluntary and unpaid. They offer a meaningful opportunity to get involved
in housing and environmental justice education and contribute to positive change within San
Francisco. League membership is required (no one is turned away from inability to pay
dues–just let us know if you want a gift membership).
If you are a student, and your school or university is willing to give you academic credit and/or
a stipend, please let us know so that we can see if adjusting the role will suit your program’s
requirements.
