ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Spanish-speaking Support Group, including ensuring session coverage and training/mentoring co-facilitators.
- Identify emerging topics and resource needs, and collaborate with board members and other volunteers to align the group’s goals with organizational priorities.
- As needed, facilitate discussions (en Español) on a wide range of topics, including LGBTQ+ identities, family dynamics, gender identity, and gender expression.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish (Español) required.
- Comfort discussing LGBTQ+ topics, including transgender and gender-expansive experiences.
- Willingness to learn more about the unique needs and dynamics of the group(s) assigned.
- Prior facilitation experience preferred, but not required; training provided.
