    Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of single mothers and their children? ASM is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join our nonprofit organization team, to provide vital support to single mother in our community.

    Tasks:

    • Must have appropriate Licensure (LCPC, LCMFT, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, LCSW, LMHC, PMHNP, CADC, LCDC) in MD, VA and/or DC.
    • Two years’ experience working with clients with developmental and mental health issues
    • Ability to contribute in board meeting on corrective actions for the organization quarterly
    • Obtain and pass a background check
    • Monitors mentee’s progress by assuming a "primary therapist" role, including coordinating and overseeing the clinical /administrative segments of each case.
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Knowledge of basic computer skills
    • Attends three board/ organizational meetings per year
    • Be available for telephone calls from interns seeking guidance
