    Description

    ESL Teaching Assistant

Are you interested in working with a fun, diverse and very appreciative group of adults? If so, the Arlington Education and Employment Program (REEP) is seeking volunteer teaching assistants to help adult learners in REEP’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program at the Syphax Education Center and Arlington Mill Community Center. Teaching assistants are assigned to a class, and help students with speaking, listening, reading and writing activities in a whole class setting, small groups, or one-on-one. Volunteers typically work 2 to 3 hours a week during the morning, evening, or late afternoon. Training and support are provided. We ask for a 3 month commitment. Volunteering at REEP is a great way to meet people from other countries and cultures and learn more about the field of ESL.
