    Description

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a Volunteer Cyber Security Manager to safeguard our digital infrastructure and protect sensitive data. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to helping a mission-driven organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security policies and protocols.
    • Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security threats or breaches.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
    • Provide guidance to staff and volunteers on best practices for data protection.
    • Respond to and investigate security incidents.
    • Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and solutions.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and related technologies.
    • Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
    • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or relevant frameworks).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
