    Volunteers Needed! Support The Becoming Love Project’s 2026 2nd Annual Heart Awards!

    The Becoming Love Project is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team and help us bring our 2026 initiatives to life!

    About Us:

    The Becoming Love Project is a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring individuals to heal trauma through storytelling and leading our communities to live with more compassion, connection, and love. Learn more about our mission and work at www.becomingloveproject.org.

    We need helping hands with event setup, guest check-in, ushering, red carpet support, raffles and silent auction, and especially breakdown at the end of the night.

    How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

    Volunteer Instructions for The Heart Awards – November 14

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The Becoming Love Project's 2nd Annual Heart Awards! Your support is crucial to making this event successful. Please review the instructions below for available roles and general expectations:

    Arrival & Check-In:

    • Please arrive at the assigned day and time once confirmed with our Team Lead or Volunteer Coordinator at The Artisan at Tannery Row - 554 W Main St, Buford, GA 30518, USA
    • Check in at the volunteer registration table to receive your assignment and name badge.

    Assignments:

    1. Event Setup
      • Assist with arranging tables, chairs, decorations, signage, and event materials before guest arrival.
      • Follow directions from the event coordinator and team leads.
    2. Guest Check-In
      • Greet guests warmly as they arrive.
      • Verify names on the guest list and provide them with event materials (such as programs or raffle tickets).
    3. Ushering
      • Guide guests to their seats and answer questions about the event layout.
      • Provide directions to restrooms and other facilities as needed.
    4. Red Carpet Support
      • Assist with managing the flow of guests along the red carpet area.
      • Ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience for photo opportunities.
    5. Raffles and Silent Auction
      • Help display auction items and raffle prizes.
      • Encourage guests to participate and provide information about bidding or raffle entry.
      • Monitor tables to ensure items remain organized.
    6. Event Breakdown
      • After the program concludes, assist with cleanup and packing event materials.
      • Help remove decorations, stack chairs, and ensure the venue is left in good condition.
      • Volunteers for breakdown are especially needed – please stay until the end if possible.

    General Reminders:

    • Dress code is "All Black", "Semi-Formal".
    • Be courteous and professional at all times.
    • If you have any questions or need assistance, check in with your team lead or the volunteer coordinator.
