    Typical patient visit: about 1 hour per week per patient — but you choose your level of involvement. Some volunteers visit multiple patients giving as much time as they’re able.

    Description

    AS A VOLUNTEER, YOU CAN:

    • Visit patients who are feeling isolated

    • Share conversation, laughter, or quiet presence

    • Give caregivers time to rest

    • Bring comfort simply by being there

    YOU’LL BE SUPPORTED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY:

    • Full training and guidance from a Volunteer Coordinator

    • Shadow visits until you feel confident

    • Support from our seasoned hospice team

    • Ongoing training and encouragement

    FLEXIBLE & BUILT AROUND YOU:

    • You choose how far you travel (we serve a 60-mile radius)

    • You choose the visits that feel right for you
