    Sewing and Dream Maker Volunteer with Heartfelt Tidbits

    Become a Makerspace Volunteer with Heartfelt Tidbits. The mission of Heartfelt Tidbits Inc. is providing support to refugees and recent immigrants living in Southwestern Ohio by facilitating integration and self-sufficiency through innovative education, cultural and employment-enhancing programming.

    As a Makerspace Volunteer you will help foster friendship and entrepreneurial skills by participating in sewing and dream maker classes. Heartfelt Tidbits has come to understand the importance of improving their clients' mental health. The maker space is a representation of that belief. In addition to the therapeutic benefits of creating art, this program allows refugees and immigrants to pursue creative entrepreneurship

    Sewing

    Sewing class is hosted twice a week. Projects have ranged from tote bags to baby dresses to jewelry making. After six weeks, new participants are given their own sewing machine.

    Dream Makers

    The Dream Maker program helps clients use existing skills and passions to start their own businesses and secure a stable income.

    Whatever your passion and purpose is, we are here to connect you to local nonprofits. RSVP is exclusive to those 55 years+ and residents of Greater Cincinnati.
