    Fosters must have permission to have pets in their homes, and a space in the home that can be isolated from any resident pets for up to 10 days. Cats must be kept indoors while being fostered. Please see our application for other details.

    Description

    Cat Foster Parent - Arlington/Fairfax and surrounding area

    Fostering saves lives. Taking a cat into your home to foster not only makes life better for that particular pet, it also opens up a space for another animal to be saved from the threat of euthanasia.

    Cats are eligible for foster for a variety of reasons - because they have been with us for a while, because they don’t thrive in a kennel or cage, because they have special needs, or because they are too young to stay in a cat adoption center or Rescue Care Center.

    Fostering experiences last anywhere from a few days to a few months. Our foster team can help match you with a cat that needs a soft spot to land while waiting for their forever home!
