Description
SBRCC is seeking volunteers to work on our 24-hour hotline. To take on this position, we ask that volunteers undertake a 60-hour Crisis Intervention Training. Our next training in English takes place October 13-November 21 every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:30am-2:00pm. This is a valuable way to support survivors of sexual assault by providing crisis counseling and offering medical and legal options. Volunteering may also be transferred toward academic credit.
