    All volunteers must register online at RedCross.Org. There is a brief application and online background check that must be submitted before volunteering.

    Description

    Do you enjoy helping people get connected and providing good customer service? Join us as a Front Office Hero! Welcome clients and members of the public who visit the office, as well as answer the incoming calls. Connect inquiries to appropriate departments and people, and assist with office support projects. K

    Tasks include:

    • Front Desk communication with guests, staff, and volunteers
    • Assist in office administration in Red Cross department
    • Answer telephones and take messages
    • Light typing, data entry, work filing, spread sheets
    • Assist is preparation of mailings, course materials packaging
    • Assist with event management and logistics when needed

    Time Commitment:

    Volunteers can sign-up for half or full day shifts. We hope volunteers would be able to work a few shifts a month. Shifts are available Monday-Fridday bewteen 8:30am and 4:30pm.
