    Description

    Grants & Fundraising Support

    About Moving Health

Moving Health strengthens rural health systems by ensuring that patients in last-mile communities can reach life-saving care when it matters most. We design and manufacture low-cost ambulances locally in Ghana and work alongside midwives, community health workers, and local leaders to build integrated emergency transport systems.

Our work has improved access to care for over 230,000 people across rural Ghana, and we are currently focused on scaling our model through partnerships with government and global funders.

    Role Overview

We are looking for a Grants & Fundraising Volunteer to support our growing pipeline of funding opportunities. This role is ideal for someone interested in global health, nonprofit fundraising, or impact-driven strategy.

You’ll work closely with our team to identify relevant funding opportunities and help prepare materials that communicate our work clearly and effectively.

    What You’ll Do

    • Research and identify relevant grants, fellowships, and funding opportunities
    • Maintain a simple tracking system for deadlines and requirements
    • Support drafting and editing sections of grant applications (using existing materials)
    • Help tailor messaging for different funders (health, climate, systems, etc.)
    • Assist in organizing core documents and language for reuse across applications

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong writing and research skills
    • Interest in global health, social impact, or nonprofit work
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly
    • Bonus: prior experience with grant writing or fundraising

    What You’ll Get

    • Direct exposure to real-world fundraising and partnership development
    • Experience working on live grant applications with meaningful impact
    • Insight into how global health organizations scale and secure funding
    • Opportunity to contribute to a growing, mission-driven organization
