    Description

    Attack Poverty | Friends of North Richmond is seeking a dedicated Digital Literacy Instruction with weekday daytime availability. This volunteer position offers an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of adult learners as they strive to improve their technology skills and use them in their daily lives. Your support and encouragement will contribute significantly to their success and confidence.     Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in English, with clear and effective communication skills.
    • Computer, tech, or IT knowledge and experience preferred
    • Passionate about supporting adult learners in their learning journey.
    • Empathetic, patient, and encouraging demeanor.
    • Ability to engage and interact positively with diverse groups of students.
    • Reliable and committed to attending digital literacy classes regularly.
    • Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the program coordinator.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is a plus but not required.
    • Note: curriculum provided.
