- Help steward sponsors by thanking them and reinforcing the impact of their support.
Auction Item Support
- Secure donated items and experiences for the silent and live auctions.
- Identify businesses or individuals who may contribute in-kind items, services, or
- experiences.
- Make introductions or assist with follow-up to confirm auction donations.
- Help promote auction highlights leading up to and during the event.
Program Book Advertising Support
- Identify businesses interested in purchasing ads in the gala program book.
- Share ad opportunities and specifications with prospective advertisers.
- Encourage participation at full-page, half-page, or quarter-page levels.
- Assist with collecting advertiser information and confirming placements.
Committee Member Expectations
- Attend periodic committee meetings or check-ins.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to support one or more areas above.
- Serve as a champion for Make Our Schools Safe and the Live for Alyssa Gala.
- Celebrate and help recognize the generosity of sponsors, donors, and partners.
Committee members are encouraged to contribute in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them, with support and guidance provided by the Make Our Schools Safe team throughout the planning process.
