The Light We Carry Foundation supports families experiencing pregnancy, infant, and child loss.

We're preparing for our first annual Light We Carry Walk/Run in Boise in spring 2027, and we're looking for an organized, enthusiastic volunteer to help bring this meaningful community event to life!

This will be more than a walk or run. Our hope is to create a day where families can come together, honor their children, and know they are not alone.

What You'll Help With:

• Identify potential vendors, event services, and community partners.
• Help build an event timeline, checklist, and preliminary budget.
• Research registration platforms, timing services, and event logistics.
• Help plan meaningful remembrance activities.
• Organize recommendations for our founder to review in December.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You:

• Love planning events and organizing details.
• Are proactive, dependable, and resourceful.
• Enjoy bringing people together for a meaningful cause.
• Have event planning experience or a willingness to learn.

Familiarity with Boise or the Treasure Valley is preferred, but not required for initial planning.

Our Goal: Have a clear event planning roadmap ready for December review, with continued planning into spring 2027.

We're looking to onboard as soon as possible!
