💙 Become a Circle of Care Volunteer

AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our Circle of Care team. If you enjoy connecting with others, offering encouragement, and making a meaningful difference, this opportunity may be perfect for you. Sometimes the most powerful act of kindness is simply reaching out and letting someone know they are not alone.

AccentCare Hospice serves patients and families throughout the community and is currently seeking volunteers to make weekly check-in calls to hospice patients and caregivers. Circle of Care Volunteers provide friendly, supportive phone calls to ensure patients have the medications, supplies, and support they need before weekends and holidays. These calls offer reassurance, companionship, and peace of mind while helping our care team stay informed of any concerns that may need follow-up

As a Circle of Care Volunteer, you will:

• Make weekly phone calls to patients or caregivers ☎️

• Offer a compassionate listening ear and emotional support

• Follow a simple call guide with provided questions

• Communicate patient or caregiver concerns to the hospice team

• Help patients and families feel connected, cared for, and supported 💙

This role is ideal for retirees, students, professionals, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking for a flexible way to give back. Many volunteer calls can be completed from home, making it easy to fit service into your schedule. Even a few hours each month can have a lasting impact on someone's hospice journey.

Training is provided at no cost and scheduled around your availability. Students age 15 and older are encouraged to apply.
