About Us
Celeste Beauty Academy Inc. (CBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in North Carolina with a mission to empower aspiring entrepreneurs in the beauty industry through education, mentorship, and access to resources.
We are currently developing a tuition-free public charter high school set to open in August 2027, focused on cosmetology, entrepreneurship, and career readiness for underserved communities.
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Volunteer Grant Writer to support our fundraising and development efforts during a critical planning phase. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience, build a portfolio, and grow into a long-term opportunity within a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities
- Assist in writing and submitting grant proposals
- Support development of funding strategies
- Track grant deadlines and submissions
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational goals and impact reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing and research skills
- Interest in nonprofit development, education, or beauty industry initiatives
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior grant writing experience is a plus (but not required)
