    Description

    Boston CASA, Inc. is currently amidst a five year growth plan, significantly increasing its budget annually in order to serve even more youth. To ensure that Boston CASA is well managed and securely positioned as it continues to grow, the Boston CASA Board of Directors is seeking board members who will actively contribute to Boston CASA's mission by engaging their community connections and philanthropic networks.

    We seek individuals who have experience in the following:

    • fundraising/development
    • accounting/finance
    • marketing/communications/PR/social media
    • nonprofit or for-profit board management
    • social work/trauma informed care
    • strategic planning
    • legal/judiciary

    We are looking for board members who will:

    • make Boston CASA one of their top three giving priorities annually.
    • attend and support fundraisers and seek event sponsorship.
    • be informed and active participants by attending regularly scheduled quarterly Board meetings (in person) and more frequent committee meetings (hybrid).
    • serve on at least one committee: Governance, Development or Finance.
    • promote Boston CASA within their communities and network enthusiastically.

    While prior board experience is preferred it is not required. We appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you.
