Join the Maya’s Hope 15th Anniversary Lotus Ball Host Committee

Maya’s Hope is looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to join the Host Committee for our 15th Annual Lotus Ball on November 18, 2026, at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

For 15 years, Maya’s Hope has worked to improve the lives of children living in extreme poverty and children with special needs in Ukraine and the Philippines. This year, we are bringing together 300 guests for an unforgettable evening celebrating the children, our community, and 15 years of impact.

We are looking for individuals who want to use their networks, creativity, and enthusiasm to help make this milestone event a success.

As a Host Committee member, you can help by:

• Inviting friends, colleagues, and members of your network to attend
• Introducing Maya’s Hope to potential corporate sponsors and supporters
• Sharing the Lotus Ball within your personal and professional networks
• Helping us expand the Maya’s Hope community
• Attending the Lotus Ball and celebrating with us!

We know everyone’s network and capacity are different. There is no expectation that every Host Committee member fundraises in the same way. We suggest a fundraising goal of $1,500, which includes your Host Committee ticket, and our team will provide materials and support to make outreach easy.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who believe that every child deserves the opportunity to receive the medical care, therapy, education, and support they need to thrive.

This year is particularly special: we are celebrating 15 years of Maya’s Hope, and for the first time, one of the children we support in the Philippines will join us in New York for the Lotus Ball.

If you are looking for a meaningful way to get involved with a NYC nonprofit, meet other philanthropic and socially minded New Yorkers, and help us change the lives of children, we would love to hear from you.
