Logistics - Dispatch Planner

Respect MO Voters is seeking someone to work in our Logistics Department to work with our state and regional Logistics teams to plan efficient transportation of materials across the state.

Efficiently coordinating supplies that need to be moved with drivers available to transport them will make our campaign more successful.

What This Role Does

You will be a main point of contact for Drivers making drives between the regions.

After a driver is onboarded and given information on necessary steps active as a driver in our department, you will identify their route and timing preferences and, if needed, help connect them with opportunities to participate. Some drivers may sign-up on their own. You will create sign-ups are ensure that they are updated.

This role focuses on:

• Seeing all needed drives are scheduled & fulfilled
• Ensuring drivers have necessary information about assignments they will be filling
• Documenting completed drives

What You’ll Do

• Work with the Inventory & Supply Lead (aka “Supply Guru”) to identify and schedule necessary drives to disperse supplies
• Check the Driver Request Form for drives requiring scheduling
• After drivers are onboarded identify their route and timing preferences and assist with scheduling accordingly
• Create and update sign-ups for upcoming driving assignments
• Create checklists for drivers to ensure correct items are transported to correct locations
• Track completed drives on a spreadsheet
• Act as an informational resource to regional level dispatch volunteers.
