    Description

US Development Ambassador & Fundraising Representative

His Grace Orphans Ministry (HGOM) is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda through education, care, community support, and the love of Christ.

We are seeking passionate and motivated volunteers to serve as U.S. Development Ambassadors & Fundraising Representatives. This is an opportunity for individuals who believe in using their networks, communication skills, and creativity to help expand opportunities for vulnerable children and strengthen the long-term sustainability of our mission.

As a Development Ambassador, you will represent and promote the mission of His Grace Orphans Ministry within your community and professional networks. You will help us build relationships with individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, community groups, and other potential supporters.

    Key Responsibilities:

Introduce HGOM and its mission to potential donors, churches, businesses, and community partners.

Help identify fundraising, sponsorship, grant, and partnership opportunities.

Support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach initiatives.

Connect HGOM with individuals and organizations interested in supporting vulnerable children.

Help increase awareness of our programs through personal and professional networks.

Assist with developing long-term relationships with donors and partners.

Represent HGOM professionally and ethically in outreach activities.

Share ideas and strategies that can strengthen our fundraising and development efforts.

    Who We Are Looking For:

We welcome individuals with experience or interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, communications, marketing, community engagement, business development, church outreach, grant research, or philanthropy. Previous fundraising experience is helpful but not required.

We especially value volunteers who are self-motivated, trustworthy, compassionate, good communicators, and passionate about creating opportunities for children and communities.

    Why Volunteer With Us?

This role gives you an opportunity to use your skills, relationships, and experience for a meaningful cause while helping a growing nonprofit strengthen its presence and network in the United States. Your contribution can help connect vulnerable children with education, care, food, essential resources, and opportunities for a better future.

This is a volunteer position. Volunteers will work collaboratively with the leadership of His Grace Orphans Ministry and can contribute remotely from within the United States.

    How many volunteers?

For the field “How many volunteers do you need?”, I recommend entering 10.

That is large enough to build a useful U.S. ambassador network but still looks realistic and manageable for your organization. You can later create ambassadors in different states or communities as the program grows
