About the Role
ORIONA is seeking passionate and driven individuals to contribute to a ground-level research initiative focused on identifying the real needs of refugee youth in Kakuma.
This role goes beyond volunteering—it is an opportunity to produce a credible research paper that can influence programs, policy discussions, and funding priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1.Conduct field-based and community research within Kakuma
2.Identify key challenges affecting refugee youth (education, employment and economic social integration)
3.Collect data through interviews, surveys, and observation
4.Analyze findings and contribute to a structured research paper
5.Collaborate with the ORIONA team to propose actionable solutions
Research Objective
1.To develop a comprehensive research paper addressing:
