    Volunteer Advocate: Financial Literacy & Office Support at CRI

    Dear Potential New Volunteer,

    This is a volunteer opportunity to help a busy Credit Restoration Non Profit, whose helping underserved and disenfranchised communities to remove obstacles due to credit challenges. These obstacles cause residents to typically have hurdles in: stable housing, employment, transportation and overall quality of life.

    We provide credit restoration, credit education, debt management, financial literacy, homebuyer readiness and even help with building business credit. In 2026 we have a goal of serving 500 individuals & families, by End of 2026.

    There's only 1 problem we have right now, we need more help and our budget is very low right now for F/T employees. However, what we could use is a couple of volunteers who could put in up to 15 hours a week.

    This is essentially ideal for anyone who:

    Has reliable transportation

    Retiree, Veteran, or has open schedule

    Customer Service experience Preferred

    Data entry and office Administration skills

    Someone interested in learning Credit Restoration.

    Attend and Assist during Classes and Events held.

    What's Expected?

    Punctuality, Patience, Friendliness, Professionalism, Adaptability, Empathy and a Fast Learner

    What would you be doing?

    • Answering phones, transfer calls, take messages
    • Answering basic client questions
    • Entering new participants, into the system
    • Sending welcome emails & other correspondence
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Reviewing Credit reports
    • Providing 45-Minute Consultations (Most Important)
    • Helping us to find referral sources in the community

    Hours may vary, as some days you may just be in the office to see new participants.
