    Description

    The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and leadership team. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in nonprofit administration, program support, volunteer coordination, communications, and community engagement.

    This internship is ideal for students and emerging professionals interested in nonprofit management, public health, social work, healthcare administration, communications, or community outreach.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide virtual administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, document management, and email correspondence.
    • Assist with volunteer coordination and community outreach efforts.
    • Help create and distribute newsletters, social media content, and organizational communications.
    • Maintain databases, records, and resource materials.
    • Support fundraising activities, donor communications, and special projects.
    • Attend virtual team meetings and assist with organizational initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
    • Interest in nonprofit work, maternal health, family support, or community engagement.
    • Previous administrative, volunteer, or internship experience is a plus.

    Additional Opportunities:

    While this role is primarily remote, volunteers may have optional opportunities to participate in local in-person events, community outreach activities, resource drives, and fundraising events when available.
