Music Volunteers needed for Hospice Patients

Compassionate Hospice Care desires that every person has the opportunity to experience companionship, until their last day.

Some patients in our service have end stage Alzheimer's or other advanced types of dementia. These patients benefit from someone simply be present with them, providing comforting touch, playing music or looking at pictures. Too often people in this condition are overlooked and the only interaction they receive is around personal care. We desire volunteers who will see the whole person and recognize the value these patients have. Volunteers are sometimes the fortunate ones who get a front row to discovering the treasure that lies within a person because they take the time just to be with them.

No experience is required, just a willing and compassionate heart. We provide a thorough and interesting training.
